This Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy applies to every wholesale and dropship partner who resells Always Green Tree products in the United States. It exists to protect the margin of the partners who invest in selling our trees properly.
The policy
Partners may not advertise any Always Green Tree product below the Minimum Advertised Price we publish for that SKU. MAP is set at our current MSRP unless we notify you otherwise in writing.
“Advertise” includes: your product and category pages, search and shopping ads, marketplace listings, email, social posts, print, and any price shown before a customer adds the item to a cart.
What is not restricted
- Your selling price. You own it. MAP governs advertising only.
- Cart and checkout pricing. A price revealed only in the cart is not advertising.
- Bundles that include non-Always Green Tree products, where our item is not separately priced below MAP.
Authorised exceptions
MAP is suspended for all partners simultaneously, and only when we announce it in writing:
- Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
- Clearance on discontinued SKUs, once we confirm the SKU is discontinued.
- Open-box or damaged units, provided the listing states the condition.
Enforcement
We monitor advertised pricing across the web and marketplaces.
- First violation — written notice, 48 hours to correct.
- Second violation — 30-day suspension of trade pricing.
- Third violation — account closed, no further supply.
This is a unilateral policy. We do not negotiate it, we do not ask you to agree to it, and we take no action against a partner other than declining to continue supplying them. Nothing here restricts the price at which you actually sell.
Reporting a violation
If you see one of our products advertised below MAP, send the URL and a screenshot to alwaysgreentreecompany@gmail.com. Protecting your margin is the whole point of this policy, and we act on reports.
